Charlie's Cartoons is a unique, personal service. We create original cartoons on the basis of your photos, anecdotes, details and ideas about a person you know. When you provide us with this material, we will work with you to create your very own unique piece of art.

How does the service work?
You supply at least one photo (or a couple more, ideally) either digitally or for us to scan, along with details and/or a story about the subject. We will be happy to prompt you with specific questions if required.
Our artists will regularly liaise with you via phone and/or e-mail to help you decide on the composition and ideas.
We get to work on your cartoon. It is first drafted in pencil, then drawn in Indian ink, and shaded and coloured with various inks and water colours.
When it is ready, we will invoice you along with a scanned copy of your cartoon. Upon receipt of your payment (cheque or paypal) we will supply the cartoon, mounted and framed to your specific requirements.
How long does it take?
The whole process can take anything from 4 days (in an emergency!) to 4 weeks (when we're overloaded with orders). Of course, it is best to place your order as early as possible. We will agree on a delivery date when the order is placed.
How much does it cost?
Prices start at just £90 for an A4 size portrait. As each piece is individual, the price depends on your requirements. Therefore we offer a no obligation quote service.
