THE SURGEON
This subject received her cartoon for her 60th birthday. She has a husband (also a doctor) with whom she still enjoys backpacking and trekking in far-flung reaches of the world. A hyper-energetic mother of two sons (another doctor, and a writer), she somehow manages to 'juggle' her hobbies together with her professional and family commitments. She and her husband have one house in Somerset and another in the thills of the Pyrenees, where they will eventually retire to relax and walk their black retriever, Tosca. |
